Affinity Equity Partners is an independently owned buyout fund manager
comprising primarily the former investment professionals of UBS Capital
Asia Pacific – the private equity arm of UBS AG. It was spun out of UBS
Capital Asia Pacific in March 2004.
We are pioneers in buyout investments in the Asia-Pacific region. To this
end, we have an established and widely recognised franchise in buyouts.
We manage funds and assets of US$4 billion. Our current fund, Affinity Asia
Pacific Fund III LP of US$2.8 billion makes us the largest independent
financial sponsor for buyout investments based in this region. To date, we
have completed eighteen landmark transactions in five countries with
transaction value aggregating over US$6 billion.

We invest in private equity deals with an emphasis on leveraged buyouts
and control-oriented investments, but give consideration to minority
investments on a selective basis. Our successful investment model involves
working closely with the managements of portfolio companies, typically
as partners and co-owners. Our investment horizon is long term. We aim
to hold portfolio companies for four to six years before exit.
